Which weight loss surgery is the best and safest? |
I am a 31 year old female and I have been over weight from childhood. I have done everything from weight watchers to nutrisystem and nothing works. I am currently undergoing treatment for instability in my back after back surgery and the doctor is telling me that if I don't lose weight I will have another major meltdown in my back within the next 2 years. Which surgery is the best and the safest? Gastric Bypass or the Lap Band System. Please help!! neither of the two surgeries are safe, you have side effects from both, like the band slipping off, abdominal pain, leakage,or with the gastric the staples pulling loose, hernia, so neither is real safe, but if your mind is really made up, then the best advice to you is to talk to a specialists, so they can give you their advice and the pros and cons of each surgery and which one would better benefit you Weight loss Surgery can be not so safe. There are side effect's to most all of them which can cause problem's. My mom has been doing weight watchers for 3 years and has lost 126 pounds. so i know it work's. Another thing you might wana ask is a personal question. Why did these lifestyle changes not work for me. Definitely Lap band. It's reversible, adjustable, and really quick. Half the time people can leave the medical center the same day. No weight surgery is safe, but the Lap Band is better than Gastic Bypass because they do not have to cut the stomach or intestines. gastric bypass. |
