Did anybody here have weight loss surgery???

Pls help me, my doctor has recommended that i have weight loss surgery. If u had done it or know someone who has, can u pls tell me the outcome and what happened after the surgery. Any information is welcome.

yes,i had a Gastric band last Dec. it isn't the right solution for everyone but it has worked for me,and i have lost about 60 lbs. it is just a small band attached around the top part of the stomach,creating a smaller stomach,thus you get full very quickly. the band can be removed too,so you are not stuck with it for life,if you do not want to keep it. it took me 6 months to get my head around it,but has been great for me
