What questions do I ask a doctor about weight-loss surgery? |
I know that I am extremely obese, and all my doctor ever tells me is "your BMI looks to be high" and that's it! I need to know what questions I NEED to ask uin order for him to give me a bit more info on this Lap-band surgery I've been looking at now for about 1 year. You can and should do some research on your own. The Obesity Help website is a good place to start. I also have a list of question on my blog (look in the archives) to ask a surgeon (and I did ask all of them, although I didn't get answers). What is the costs and will your insurance pay for it. |
