Any one have the lap band weight loss surgery down?

My sister was going to have it done. But since she weighed so much they said it was to risky and that the band would not hold So they went in and did the stapling of the stomach.That seems to be working very well. i feel the surgies are a great solution for people who struggle with their weight.

I personally myself do not but I have a cousin who is and she is doing awesome with it. She weighed over 400 pounds and because of this she was a high risk for the gastric bypass surgery so the doctors suggested the lap band for health reasons. It has only been a couple of months and I believe she has lost over 60 pounds already.
