Birth control weight gain? |
OK, I was on the patch for a while and I gained quite a bit of weight. I know it's a side effect, but I wasn't very active at that time so that probably didn't help at all. Anyway, I stopped using the patch, changed my lifestyle and lost all my weight and then some. My question is, if I start using birth control again (with my very active lifestyle) am I less likely to gain weight? I go to the gym 3 days/week so will that help any? Lifestyle= diet + exercise. it should and try not to eat alot of sugar and carbs You will still gain weight. You need to excercise as much as possible and eat very good. I have been on birth control for almost 5 years. I work out at least 5 days per week right now and 2 years prior I worked out even more, it was like a lifestyle to me. Report It Well now that I am not as into it I have noticed more weight gain. I am going to just get off it for a while, I think my body really needs a break from the bloating, moodiness, etc. Just remember to eat well and excercise a lot. Good luck! Report It maybe it all depends on yourself birth control causes an affect of wieght gain so maybe you want to talk to opition over with your doc You will still gain, but not as much as before. You need to have a healthy diet too. Exercise alone won't cut it. |
