I may be pregnant is there weight control diet or plans so that I don't gain any crazy weight?

My 2 pregancies put me throught some tough deppresion over the weight I gained...any suggestions on not blowing up ..

Sauna please go to a nutritionist, And let them set up a diet plan for you, Personally by your photos you look great, Congratulations!!!! I hope the babies first words are Uncle te,

Drink LOTS of water, and watch your salt intake (It retains water)

I realize that this may be depressing to you but it is the time to be concerned for your baby and not yourself. After your pregnancy you can worry more about yourself. Good luck.

Talk to your obstetrician. They are better at nutrition than most doctors.

Dieting during pregnancy is dangerous for the fetus, who needs all kinds of nutrients it may not be getting if you don't get them. That is why nature designed it so that pregnant women would have voracious appetites.

But, if you can control your appetite, which is hard when you are pregnant, you can do yourself some good by avoiding sweets totally and cutting down on fats. The calories from sugar are useless to the fetus if it can get them from other foods, and most of us eat too much fat. Concentrate on the veggies, but don't eliminate meat entirely.

I found a few things that really seemed to help me:

Make sure you drink tons of water. Your body needs it, and it helps control your appetite.

Make an effort to eat all of your fruits and veggies. If you fill up on the good stuff, you are less likely to eat tons of crap.

Make sure you get enough sleep. Many people turn to food to get the energy they don't have for lack of sleep.

Don't really stress out over your weight right now. Just concentrate on being healthy.

Good luck!
