I have genital warts?

I am a 14 year old boy. I have genital warts but it's not from intercourse. I have had warts on the bottom of my foot for the longest time now and I have read that if you have warts on another part of your body then you can transmit it to your genitals if the virus (HPV) if on your fingers. I have looked at a lot of pictures (at the cost of throwing up after one particularly explicit one) and I have confirmed that it is genital warts. It is in early stages so there is not a lot but there is no doubt it is genital warts. I am really angry at myself and depressed because if I had just taken decisive action on the warts on my foot a while ago (I have had them for 5 years) then this would have never happened. Now I have learned my lesson. My parents know I have warts on my foot and soon I will have surgery to get them removed. Thanks for listening to my story. Now here is my question: I want to tell my parents but I am extremely embarrassed. Should I tell my parents?

WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE THE DOCTOR TO REMOVE THE ONES ON YOUR FOOT,TELL HIM ABOUT THE ONES ON GENITALS, GET THEM TAKEN CARE OF , LATER YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO GET A GIRL TO HAVE SEX WITH!!

yes tell them so it doesn't lead to cancer and try compound W on your feet i did and it cured them there , doctors have better stuff for genitals

No don't tell them. When you get the surgery on your foot, just whisper to the doctor that he needs to shave a few off your ding-a-ling as well.

yes because ur still underage. i understand it's really embarassing and ur depressed but your parents are still responsible for u and they already know about the ones on your foot so just tell them. you'll save yourself alot of pain and the embarassment you'll have later if u wait

As embarassing as it may be you need to tell them and get the warts treated ASAP. This is something that you don't want to let go as it will not get better only worse. HPV is more common then aids about 50 million cases a year. On a guy they are unsightly but not painful, On a chick they can cause uterine cancer and since girls have inside plumbing the warts are often unnoticed.

I know how hard it is to see something like that. I also have genital warts and like you I went looking for answers and saw some really graphic horrible images on the internet. It's nothing to be ashamed of because it's NOT YOUR FAULT. You didn't know so stop feeling guilty. I was born with genital warts (my egg donor had the disease). It made me very depressed too, I thought " I'm ugly and gross and noone will ever love me". Well thats wrong. Talk to your doctor, when I finally got the courage too (when I was 18 after knowing about it my whole life) they treated me like it was nothing. They made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions and a weeklater I had the warts removed and tested. Luckily they haven't come back and all my test were normal. It'll be okay! if you need someone to talk to just lemme know! p.s.- it was a little painful to get them removed but hardly umbearable!
