Are there any walkers out there?


I use to walk 5 to 10 miles a day....then i just quit i had alot of family problems, now I want to start again, whats you routine and how often do you walk?
have you heard that there should be no late night eating?
what have you heard ???
well any answers or tips you use would be great

Yes, I walk four miles a day five to six times a week. Saturdays and Sundays seem to be getting a little busy, so I usually do not walk on these days. I try and have dinner by 4:00PM, and I make it a point not to eat any meals after 6:00PM. If I do get hungry then I usually grab a protein shake, yogurt, or piece of fruit. Gradually I want to start running, but probably not until summer. Good luck with your getting back into the groove.

i like to walk on the beach.

Oprah lost weight by walking, also not eating 3 hours before bedtime. Cut out soda and sugary foods, if your body doe'nt use that sugar as ~energy~ then it's just going to turn to fat.

Late at night when your tummy is rumbling is when your body is "eating" it's fat.

I love walking. right now it's to cold to be outside so I dance in my house. Also bicycle riding is fun go slow check out peoples gardens.

wow ten miles thats alot. i usually walk about two. before i walk i usually have fruit of a salad. then i go on my walk usually around my neighborhood. then come home and eat dinner. yes i have heard about not eating late because when you eat late the food sits in your stomach right before you go to bed i usually eat dinner about five or six hours before i go to bed. that way i can have some movement and my food is not just sitting there

i love walking! even on the tradmill...... i walk 3-5 miles every day! its the best way to lose wieght....... and its working for me!
