My docter said I could swim with my cam. walker(which I have have for the second time). Should I? |
I am going to Lake of the Ozarks next week for vacation, and that trip will involve lots of water. Not only is it LAKE of the Ozarks, it also has a pool at the place we are staying. My doc says I can take off the cam. walker and swim (not tube) because I know my own pain. The question is, if this were you, what would you do? Any advice would help! I don't want too many more answers, because...... Yes, you can (especially as you have clearance from your doc) If the doctor said yes, then you should be fine to. Knowing the Lake of the Ozarks, the water is often muddy and cloudy, so be very careful when walking in the water, such as getting in and out of the lake. If your foot starts to hurt, take it easy, don't keep trying to do more. Also, if it is sore at all afterwards, I would ice it after you are done. I hope that you have a great time! looks like you've already got your information. |
