Has anyone heard of vulvodynia?

Have you ever suffered from this condition and if so would you mind telling me what your symptoms were?

yes, it's pain in the vulva. Described often as a stinging, stabbing, or burning pain/discomfort/altered sensation around the area of the vaginal opening. I haven't personally had this though. It can cause very painful problems with intercourse or just plain walking. The pain can be constant or intermittent and also be felt sometimes on the clitoris or perineal area. Symptoms can happen for no obvious reason.
