Do any women experience vaginal/vulvar discomfort regularly and what do you use for treatment?

I have a combination of muscle spasms in my vagina, as well as vulvodynia/vestibulitis. I have been treating it with Amitriptyline for over a year now but am sick of taking that pill. Has anyone ever been diagnosed with the same problems and take something else that works good for controlling vaginal/vulvar discomfort?

first your current medication does not treat the problem but rather the effect of the problem, hope that makes sense to you, as far as your vaginal spasms go you might want to try some natural products containing ingredients like chamomile, fever few, passionflower or peppermint or yarrow, as for the other try barberry ,black cohosh, blue cohosh, boneset, burdock, meadowsweet, scullcap, uva-ursi or vervain these are all natural anti-inflammatories a topical cream containing heartease may also be beneficial every body has it's own chemical makeup, try a mixture of these products or one at a time, until you find one that works for you hope this helps
