Sagging Urethra? |
After I had my baby four months ago, Ive been experiencing alot of pain. I went back to the Gyno and I ended up having granulation tissue. I had surgery to remove it. Then at that appointment I felt a sensation of falling out. I looked at my vagina and there is a buldge. It is my urethra which was confirmed by my doctor. She said that is is going to sag due to having a huge child and having a 3rd degree tear. Its really bothering me and It is very painful to have sex, my doctor said it is due to vulvodynia....but I think its becuase my uretha is sagging If your doctor shows little concern for that, and it sounds to me like he does, I would go to another doctor. Your uterus could be prolapsing, or your vagina, both of which are serious problems. Its not normal to have pain during sex, so any concerns you have, should be addressed by a doctor that gives a damn. I would be scared in a situation like that, and I would appreciate someone who cared about my health as much as I do. Good luck, hun. That can happen if you don't have good pelvic muscle tone. Your doctor should have recommended you do Kegel exercises during your pregnancy, which would have reduced the chances of this. Avoid having sex until you're properly healed or else things might get worse. I hope you won't need surgery to correct it. volvodunia is just a 50 cent term for pain in the vulva, this doctor does not know what to do with it, so he gave it a term to appease you, you need to get another opinion, and do it soon, if it was the urethra I would assume your doctor would not let you have sex, as the urethra is a tube from your bladder, this is just not making sence, you need to see another gyno. Wow, what a good for shi_ doctor you have to have let you tear like that and then go through the rest of it. You really need to see a different doctor pronto and a lawyer who specializes in medical malpractice. What a quack! You need to go to a Uroligist. I have had bladder problems ever since my hysterectomy in 1996. My bladder got cut open during the surgery and the gyn didn't call in the right dr. to fix it so 5 weeks later one night my bladder burst open. yep...next thing you know I was having emergency surgery to save my life. well, now my bladder is half the normal size-which a normal one holds 1200cc's mine holds less than 300 now. I will have problems with uti's the rest of my life. Every 3-4 months I have to have it cleaned out plus I have to take meds every day the rest of my life. PLEASE<PLEASE make sure you find the best Dr. in that field. I don't know where you are located but in Georgia I can give you the name of the best....good luck and if I can help email me..mfroeh@yahoo.com My prayers are with you..... |
