Effexor with diet meds like Phentermine?

Will the two mix ok or is it too dangerous? I want to lose weight with the aid of the phenermine but have recently been put on Effexor for vulvodynia (which worked)! I have taken the phentermine alone fine, but wonder if the Effexor with it matters. Those who have done this please advise.

I haven't done it myself, but whenever that combination occurs, the computer in my pharmacy ALWAYS flags it as dangerous and we call the doctor. Also, it doesn't have to be effexor, all SSRI antidepressant medications cause this contraindication.
