Random vomiting? |
About a month ago, I had a strange episode in which I woke up in the middle of the night and vomited. I felt better immediately after vomiting and went back to sleep. I chalked it up to eating too much the night before (I'd had a big dinner and felt overly stuffed afterwards). But a few nights ago it happened again: wake up in the middle of the night, vomit, feel fine and go back to sleep. I hadn't overeaten this time, nor do I display any other symptoms - no fever, no chills, no headaches, no sniffles, no nothing. Jasbo is an idiot. IUDs do not "kill" fertilized eggs. IUDs (specifically the Mirena, as that's what I'm on) prevent conception by preventing ovaries from releasing an egg, by thickening the mucous of the cervic to prevent sperm from entering the uterus, and by keeping the uterus lining too thin for an egg to implant. Without an implanted egg, you're not pregnant AT ALL. Do your own research before you go spouting your ignorance at people that actually take steps to prevent unwanted pregnancies. This has happened to me with on rare occasions with certain foods (meats with high fat content, parsley, or certain spices), and only if I sleep on my back. I assume its caused by acid reflux. I can tell at bedtime if i am going to have a problem, so i take pepsid-AC on those occasions, and the problem goes away. Unexplained vomiting is sometimes attributed to brain tumors. It could also be reflux. If I had to guess.. I'd say Sinus Drainage... but that is JUST A GUESS.... that is what does it to me. I agree with you that if it continues you should see your Doc. You have an IUD? Perhaps an egg is getting fertalized than when it drops the iud kills it. So you could be getting 'slightly pregnant' repeatedly. Do some research. |
