Winter Vomiting Virus?

Is there any way of keeping safe whilst the winter vomiting virus is going around. I live in ashford in kent and both maidstone and ashford have a outbreak of the winter vomiting virus.

I soon have to start college and i do not want to because i do not want to get the vomiting virus.

Is there any way i can build my immune system up to fight those kind of things?

Every winter all this illnesses just magical spread. I bet you anything that some sick person makes these virus like the winter vomiting virus and the flu and inflicts it upon people every winter for what reason? to make money from all the drugs they sell to make people better.

Take vitamins, eat well...get plenty of sleep..

Just wash your hands a lot. And maybe take some Airborne-the pills that are supposed to prevent colds and flus and such.

Keep your diet as clean as you can.
Get enough rest.
WASH YOUR HANDS A LOT! Viruses are generally caused by our infecting ourselves when in contact with surfaces! There are also hand sanitizers that kill the baddies...think of your shopping cart, then your steering wheel, then your computer keyboard...are you washing your hands to avoid contamination from one thing to another?
