Vomiting dark green-blackish bile, back pain, but no fever? |
I've been vomiting since around 7:30 last night, and the nausea started around 2. I figured I was just nauseous and I didn't think anything of it. So I went to work at 5:30 pm and started becoming extremely nauseous, so bad that I couldn't talk to customers so I told my manager and she let me go home. The instant I got home, I started vomiting. The first time it was food, the second time it was dry-heaving, the third-fifth time it was dry-heaving, mucus, and yellow bile, and the sixth and seventh time (which were while my fiance and I were in bed), I vomited dark green bile (almost looked black). He keeps saying it's the stomach flu, but I have no fever. Although, I do have a lot of pain in my lower and middle back. I didn't know if that was from bending over and vomiting last night, though. Please help me, I can't find anything that fits the symptoms. Thank you! Also, the eighth time (just now) was just dry-heaving. I salivated profusely and felt severely hungry, and then started retching Black vomitus is a sign of a gastro-intestinal bleed. The low and middle back pain could be a kidney infection. This doesn't sound like the stomach flu - at best it is food poisoning. Don't wait. Go to the doctor within the hour. I'm all herbal / natural treatment oriented, but not this time. Go call the doctor now. It sounds like you may have some kind of gastrointestinal infection. I would go to the doctor. If you have vomited as many times as you say, you are probably dehydrated. Call the Dr. You will be okay. Take care and God Bless. Go see your doctor-it sounds like you are vomiting blood and that is not good. Blood in this case can show as green to dark black or look like coffee grounds. Not something to mess with. Dark green bile is a sign of possible intestinal obstruction or pancreas infection. Go to a doctor as soon as you can, please. Sweetie...get to the ER! You may have a ruptured gallbladder or a bleeding ulcer...both of which are medical emergencies. Go NOW! |
