Vomiting After Changing Anti-Depressants?

I've been on 300mg of Wellbutrin but found it wasn't working so I decided i'd like to go on Celexa b/c it has worked for me in the past. My doctor said to just stop the Wellbutrin and start the Celexa the next day. Hours after taking it i was sick and vomiting. This never happened before. Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas as to why I would be vomiting? Is this common?

Not me, but it may not agree with your system. Sounds like you have taken it before. It may just be the change. If you are still reacting this way contact the Dr. immediately, or call ER or visit ER. The two medicines must have crossed and have made you sick, have you done this with the Welbutrin before?====

I don't know if vomiting is common, but it's probably a side affect. Maybe you should ask your doctor about it.
Did the mg change? So instead of receiving 300 mg maybe you're getting more or less? I don't remember if this will affect you any way.
Try sticking with for a few more days and see if vomiting is still a problem, and then ask your doctor about it.

I just started Celexa yesterday and I am nasuea from it already. It is one of the side effects of this medication. Give it sometime. I have hear only good this about using it. However, if you get worse, go see your doctor. Good Luck!!!!!!

taking 2 medications that do the same thing can cause ure body to reject the 1 that u took later. ure body got so used to the 1st medication it wouldnt recognize the 2nd 1 so it got rid of it. over a short span of time this will go away unless u stop taking the 2nd medication in which case u'll hav 2 start the whole process over again.

2.your doctor is a dipshit, youre supposed to taper off everything
