My daughter is vomiting and vomiting .?

She cannot take medicines or single drop of water.Sputam is coming with each vomit. Please give me an answer to stop vomiting quickly.She is very weak and tired.

Depends on how long she has been vomiting and how old she is.

Assuming she is not a small child (under 5), try the following: If she has been sick less than 36 hours, try Gatorade in very small doses. If she can not tolerate it and is not urinating, she is probably too dehydrated to hold anything down now. As time goes on, it will be more likely that she needs to go to an urgent care center.

You may want to call her primary doctor and ask his recommendations. Often, vomitting resolves by itself, but after a certain number of hours, her body will have difficulty correcting the electrolytes that she has vomitted. If that is the case,she will need IV fluids.

If greater than 36 hours have gone by, she needs to be seen by a doctor. The color of the sputum or the fact that it has mucus just means that she has an empty stomach. Just remember that she is getting very dehydrated, if she has stopped going to the bathroom, this is a good indicator.

Don't let too much time go by. If she is younger than 5, she needs to be seen by a physician either way. Older, wait up to 36 hours.

By the way, vomiting can't just be stopped. Most medications for this are prescription. They do have antiemetics at the drugstore, but I don't think it should be given to a child.

Take her to the hospital!!!!

Take her to the er, honey. This is not a site where she can be diagnosed. At least the er cen give her something to stop the vomiting. If she can't even take water, she really needs a dr.

Take the child to the hospital --- like all good parents would!
