Vomiting or what?

I have OCD and i'm extremley afraid of vomiting. I was chillin with one of my friends for the whole day almost yesterday and today he came down with a terrible stomach thing. He's had vomiting and diareahh. Last night he just ate 10 carrots(big ones). He has no fever. Should I worry? or what?

If you did not eat the carrots, then you should be fine

Worrying will only make things worse. Tell yourself that you will not get the virus. Do not come into contact with sick friends for awhile.

Find something to pass your time while he gets better. Send him a card or a cool CD. Be nice and don't seem too freaked out. He needs support. That's what friends are for.

If you need to, talk with a professional about your fear and your OCD. If you want to, you could convince yourself that if you eat healthy things, you won't get ill. If you do throw up, don't dwell on it. Distract yourself by watching some TV. Join the Obsessive-Compulsive Foundation or a support group.
