Dirhea, vomiting and weight loss? |
My son is 34 weeks old and he does not want to eat and if he does eat he vomits and the only thing he can stomach is water nothing else but water. I tried juice, milk , tea you name it he brings it up and he lost so much weight that Im scared. The doctor gave some medicine but its not helping to stop dirhea and vomiting and is there something someone out there can recomend ..........Im desperate take him to an ER if you have to. go to a paediatrician, it could be very serious, do not delay Oh no! we went through this with my little brother. He had had a severe allergic reaction to his formula which was affecting his digestive tract and everything he was trying to take in was being rejected. First of all take him to the hospital, they will put an IV in and keep him hydrated, it hurts to see your baby on an IV but for his health its the best thing. they can run tests and find out what caused the reaction, or if it might even be a parasite in his intestines. bypass the doc on this one and go to the emergency room. What ever path you choose I wish the best of future health to your son and your entire family! |
