Birth Control and Vomiting? |
Ok, This all happened yesterday. I took my birth control and 30 minutes later I ate some food from TGI Fridays. A two hours later I started having severe stomach pains and I started vomiting. I was wondering how long does it take for the pill to be dissolved? Did I vomit out the pill? The vomiting stopped, but I'm still nauseous but I took my birth control pill for today. You could be confusing the affects of your birth control to a touch of food poisoning. What did you order at TGIF? By the way, the flu is going around like mad. Especially the 24 hour flu. I would wait it out. If this continues after day 3 of birth control. Continue to drink fluids. Even tho your vomiting, the fluids are still absorbing in your system. If this continues the vomiting for over a 48 hour time span, its time to consult your physician who put you on the birth control. im sure it would be dissolved by then If you vomitted within 30 minutes of taking the pill, chances are that you did not get the full effect of the medication. I would suspect the food, however, if this continues call the doctor who prescribed this medication. it is ok, your body is getting use to it? but could you have been pregnant and not know it? did you taake a testt before taakeing the pill? no you did not throw up the pill it already desolved. If you dont take your pills at a fairly exact time every day, you can have more/less hormones left in your system when you took the pill. Also, if you took two at once (having missed one or something) you'll probably get nausea, but it's entirely from an overload of hormones. |
