After vomiting,what's best to eat?

What's best to eat after vomiting so you don't vomit again?

When a patient is experiences vomiting, a clear liquid diet is the first foods they are given. Ginger ale, Jell-O, broth, and juice come first. This is mostly because they are the easiest to vomit out if the patient should continue to be ill. Once clear liquids are tolerated, the diet progresses to more solid foods. A lot depends on how you feel. If you're just throwing up, like after drinking too much, you can probably eat anything you like.

Depending on why you vomited and what sounds more appetizing at the time, chicken soup and/or crackers are the best. Actually, leave out the chicken. Just drink the broth. Hope you're feeling better soon! Good Luck!

i think crackers and tea are the best thing to eat after getting sick the crackers soak up some of the stuff and the tea has sugar in it to keep you from throwing up again...thats my opinion

replenish fluids. drink water. make it room temp and take small sips. eat dry foods. no grease. pretzels, toast with jelly is also very good. saltines. do not over do it. small frequent is better.

Saltine crackers.

the best thing for me is CANDY.especially the minty kind.it takes the taste outta your mouth and helps your throat.

eating small amount of food will do so you'll not vomit again. Also, eat soda crackers for the moment. Don't eat large meals 'coz it'll make you to vomit what you have eaten. And try to munch on some ice chips.

something carbonated. 7up or club soda usually does the trick.

drink water first to wash down the acid and then eat a banana to calm the stomach

not to eat but to drink
drink juice or water
drinking flavored juice will make the nasty taste of vomit away

and then eat liitle amount of any dry/finger foods

first don't eat for 1-2 hours so your stomach can be settled
start with clear liquid with low sugar and acid like water, lemon lime soda, gatorade, ginger ale, jello, popcicles or plain soup broth, wait a while & if u do ok with that then have crackers to get back the salt ur body lost from the vomiting- bread or toast with a little jelly, no butter- rice- an apple or banana- dry cereal...after a few hours try heavier foods but not too much fat, sugar or dairy----most of this goes for diarrhea too minus the fruit, also good for a cold or flu
