Can anybody tell me the difference between vomiting pain and diarrhea pain?

I'm emetophobic, terrified of throwing up. Knowing that vomiting is sometimes accompanied by diarrhea, when I get diarrhea that's unrelated to what I've eaten (diarrhea after stuff with lactose in it is normal for me), I get really freaked out. What I want to know is this: all I really have is lower intestinal pain and a little diarrhea. Vomit-sick is more of a stomach pain, right? But can lower intestinal pain make somebody vomit, too? I'm so scared!

I mean, if the stuff got that far through my digestive system, it couldn't be something that would make me throw up, right? And if it really could cause vomiting, does the fact that I had some diarrhea mean that I'm off the hook now as far as vomiting is concerned? ._______.

To answer your main question, vomiting does not hurt at all. The food comes up and you feel better. You'll probably have to vomit 2-4 times. You will usually have nausea before vomiting, and you'll feel SO much better after you vomit. But there's NO pain! Next time you're really nauseous, just think of how much better you'll feel after throwing up. It's well worth it!! Buy some IPECAC at a drug store. It'll make you vomit without having to stick your fingers down your throat. I promise you, you'll be glad you did.

On the other hand, with diarrhea, you get stomach cramps in your lower stomach, under your belly button. They feel like menstrual cramps. As soon as you go, the pain goes away. But in a few minutes, when the cramps come back, you have to run to the toilet again. You might have to go up to 3-6 times.

You usually have to vomit after drinking too much (a hangover,) or after you've eaten something that didn't agree with your stomach. (Within 4 hours.) Don't be afraid to face your fear!! Just keep saying to your self how much better you're gonna feel, and there's NO pain! Good luck, Sweetie! :)

you need to see your doctor and just tell hI'm what you wrote here even print it out ,, im doing that tomorrow with my questions on here ,because i intend to leave things out well good luck , and i hope you feel better this year,,
