How long does vomiting last in a 20month old?

My son started diarrhea on Saturday Sunday morning same with vomiting. Diarrhea slowed down vomiting continues? When should I be concerned to take him o the doctor? I feel bad because he wants to eat but when he does he vomits again. I feel so bad :(

It is now early Thurs morning. Any vomitting that lasts more than 12-24 hours (depending upon frequency) should be addressed by a Doctor. The danger is from dehydration. Children and the elderly are at the greatest risk. Until you can get professional help, allow only ice chips, or clear liquids only as tolerated.
