He's vomiting black, advice?

hello evryone, my boyfriend has been to the hospital with kidney stones, really painful for him, and he had 3 times painkillers in injections. he was vomiting as well...but then the pain was gone, after few hours he vomited black....does anyone know if i have to worry about this..i am waiting for some medical advice but in the meantime i wanted to know if someone knows anything about this.
he hadn't eaten berries or anything black.
do i have to take any precautions at the moment??

Black vomit means dried blood in the vomit, which needs to be checked out asap

Black can be a sign of blood in vomit or stool.

Sounds like he is a lot sicker than you and the doctors thought. Get him back into the ER asap.

Black vomiting is a sign of blood in the stomach, it may be that the pain killers have damaged the lining of his stomach or that he already had an ulcer.
Best advice, tell a doctor asap.

could be due to an ulcer,or gastritus.but dont worry if he is already under medical supervision.

This is blood, get him to hospital

If he's bringing up black it's more than likely blood - Definately get him straight down to A&E
