Anybody have any clues? Vomiting and fever!?

I'm trying to find out exactly what I might be sick from. I took my son to the E.R Tuesday with pnemonia and I came back sick. But my illness is different. At first I was only vomiting up food, so If I didn't eat I wouldn't vomit. Now 1 day later I'm vomiting up every liquid I drink too. I'm running a fever and have pink eye!
Can anyone give me a clue as to what I have. And when it will go away.
Thank you

i'm not a doctor so don't quote me but maybe you have the stomach flu...i had that a couple of days ago. my symptoms were kind of like yours except the pink eye thing. i think that isn't a symptom, i think that was the outcome of you contracting the pink eye virus. i got that that as well a few years back. i touched my eye after touching a desk. the desk had the virus on it. i really think you should go to the doctor because they are the only ones that will be able to give you an accurate diagnosis. by the way...is your son doing better? i hope he is.

It sounds like some sort of viral infection. See your doctor immediately before you become dehydrated.

it sounds like it might be a combonation of things

get to the hospital woman

now

I know it's a bad word, but pregnant?

hopefully you just have the flu and the pink eye is separate. don't drink anything for a few hours and after that drink flat warm coke.

or of course you could get some compazine.

this whole not keeping anything down thing just happened to me so i took a nap for 4 hours or so and when i got up i started drinking coke little by little and it seemed to pass. and to add more irony, i just finished my antibiotics/steroids but i'm still on the nebulizer for pneumonia i just had! stupid spring! i hope you and your son feel better soon.

The doctor would have more of a clue.

well, u picked up something in the ER. go to the doctor, u might need medicaton, its not healthy to throw up so much.....

sounds like possible flu, or stomach virus....gotta love hospitals if you're not sick when you go there you will be when you leave...see a doctor ...dehydration is nothing to play with.

It is quite possible that the "germ" (whether it be a bacteria or a virus) that caused your son's pneumonia may be causing both your pink eye and stomach symptoms. It's not the kind of problem that should be handled by "waiting", because of the danger of dehydration, blood chemical imbalance, kidney failure, or generalized infection that can spread throughout your body (sepsis), and can kill a person. Go back to the emergency room immediately!

most likely you picked up both a stomach virus and pink eye at the ER. they are not healthy places, you know. just make sure you don't get dehyrated from the vomiting, if persists or you think you are dehydrated go to your dr or back to the er! for the pink eye, it's important to note if the discharge from your eye is clear or white/yellow. clear means viral or allergies - no antibiotic necessary. white or yellowish means bacterial so you need antibiotic drops that you'd put into both eyes -- see your dr or urgent treatment center
