Does anyone know about a speech disorder where a male will purposely find himself using a higher pitch?

I am curious to know if there is such a speech disorder? I find myself when I talk to people I tend to have a higher pitch than im capable of having and it sometimes feel as if I purposely do that pitch because I feel my more relaxed voice tends to be deeper? And Im curious if this is something that I have learned or am I over analyzing it?

My rationale comes from when I talk over the phone for some reason my voice sounds almost child like and I find that annoying LOL. But on a more serious side if it is such a disorder i'd like to take steps towards correcting it otherwise ... live on :)

If it's on purpose, as you say, it's not a disorder. Just stop it already.
