Can someone with Borderline Personality Disorder become a manipulator?

Has anyone here been diagnosed with this disorder.My ex was suicidal, but never followed through.Was sexually promiscuous & got a one night stand pregnant bf we met, & seemed to want to change, but I found out after he continues to have unprotected sex. I feel he made himself be someone I wanted him to be, only to be someone totally different. & he lied about so much. I mean he comes from a good family whom are well off. Whats wrong with this guy.?? In all this, I told him he needed help, but he only wanted mine. Those times when he really felt this way, he told me if I ever called the police he told me he would go thru with it.Now looking back, he messed with my head lot, with all the suicide threats caused much worrying, panic and anxiety attacks. I called to let him know I found out alot about him & I was crying and left it in a voice mail. He sent me anemail & told me he would file a complaint against me and to get prof. help:( I could not believe he said to me after I helped him

Maybe he has BPD, maybe he doesn't.

yes absolutely

but remember this is a mental helath isssue and should be dealt with as such

Sounds like manipulation, BIG TIME! Can you get away from this person? He's bad news, for sure.

Don't email him. Don't read his emails. Delete. Change your email address. Get a personal protection order against him, if you can.

People like this can be very exciting, almost addictive, to be around.
He is not going to change--he cannot.
Please take the other posters' advice, and stay away from this man, physically, on the phone, and on email. He will wreck your life!
