If you think you have an eating disorder and know somethings wrong and need help....how do you ask? i cant...? |
I need help with this I think I might want to try to get help...dont tell me im stupid i dont need that right now thanks...i need serious answers...and lets get a grip...guidance counselors...not helping...i just need a way to ask for help. i dont know how. telling your mom that you think you might have an eating disorder might be a bit of a sensitive subject...dont ya think? so if you could help...i dont know how to say it...i dont know whether or not i should...i dont know if i can possibly make myself say it...cuz well...ummm. not easy to talk about at all. i mean its not supposed to be talked about...its not. and yeahh...so confused...cant put up with the war in my head any longer...these voices are killing me... i know what you are going through. i've been there and done it. i have been battling with my ED for over 5 years now.... The best person to talk to would be your mom, or a sibling if you have one. Just sit down with her and tell her, say mom I need to tell you something, tell her to just listen. Then tell her, mom I need help, I have an ED and I don't know what to do... I am almost positive she will understand. It's going to be overwhelming. Congratulation, no really admitting you have a problem is the first step to getting help and getting better. If you have an eating disorder, and have lost a lot of weight, chances are your mom has noticed, and is just afraind to bring it up. This is what happened to my daughter and I. Please talk to your mom, even if you have to look at the floor while doing so...just talk. That first step is always the biggest and hardest to make. Good luck. |
