Do the alternate personalities of persons with DID possess different attributes?

I have read, but can not find the source, that the personalities of someone with Dissociative Identy Disorder can have different handwritting, different eye glasses prescriptions, and some may be left as opposed to the "core" persons righthandedness. I know that, like Sybil, they may play an instrument that the core or other personalities don't know or know another language that the core claims to have not ever studied. Anyone know where I can find the above info? Or voice an opinion.

Some can do things that others can't... for example one person my mother worked with had a personality that could drive and others that couldn't. Because the personalities take on different ages, some can do things that younger ones could not. Here are some links below with more information. Keep in mind that sometimes the core has been so repressed that they may not know ANYTHING that happened to the body for several years at a time and in that time the other personalities could have learned new skills, had surgeries, married another person, etc.
It is a very scary disorder to have and often hard to work with as you must work with basically an unknown number of people. The eventual goal of treatment is to "merge" the personalities back into the core.

This is a very good blog, a beginner鈥檚 guide to abnormal psychology.
