Who knows what about laryngospasms? |
I have laryngospasms. Its this thing that affects my breathing. It has to do with the vocal cords and the fact that when i have anxiety it acts up.What i need to know is very important! Is it life threatening? Will it ever go away? Is there any relaxation techniques i could use to take my mind of whats causing my problems? Please help me! i dont want to be tortured for the rest of my life not being able to breath/having a hard time doing it!! there is a possibility that it can be life threatening - you can get meds or have surgery to help it. speech therapy is used to treat laryngospasms and vocal cord dysfunction. it would probably be beneficial. |
