Has anyone had a Boston Terrier with severe breathing problems caused by the soft palette or related trouble? |
My Boston terrier is 12 years old and has very labored breathing with little exertion and can't tolerate being overheated at all. He even has trouble swallowing. The vet said he has a possible collapsed vocal cord. Any help for that? Oops. Wrong section. Sorry, I meant this to go to the pet section. It does sound like one of his vocal cords has become paralyzed in the "paramedian" position and is unable to close all the way (hence the swallowing problem) or open all the way (hence the breathing problems with exertion). |
