Is vitiligo is curable?????????? |
Hi, I have seen and talked to people who have been able to reverse it to some extent and even got rid of it completely. Hi aruna i have aslo a vitiligo.please communicate with me at: pappuraj25@yahoo.com Report It I am a long sufferer of this look on vitiligo .co.uk and help is at hand it might be .com good luck Vitligo is a curable problem and it is not a desease, dont think that as a desease, it is a problem and it is a common toi all people atlaest 5% of the world population is facing the same problem. Since you have vitiligo for the past four years you may be an expert of this field, becuase it is a psychological problem, initiated by society. I dont want to say about monoderm, psuralin oinment and tablets etc. You have not mentioned about the place of the vitiligo, because if it is in the lips or sensitive parts you could not apply the sensible oinments. I think you are in treatment, you need moral support. Take wromiban tablet once in a month, which is a competitor for the vitamins and minerals you are eating. Eat carrots, goat liver etc to increase the level of vitamins in the skin. If you need further moral help, I am ready to assit you. It is just a matter of all human life. hi aruna, there is no cure as such for your condition, i am sorry for this. But there is definitly a new modality of treatment called PUVA therapy, which you can try. Consult a dermatologist soon. IT IS CURABLE, HAVE A TALK TO YOUR LOCAL DOCTOR My daughter was diagnosed with Vitiligo at age 3. She is now 33. Given the options of treating her back then, or just letting it alone, I chose to let it alone. The side effects from the prescribed medicine we too great a risk ( I felt). Her's is on the left side of her stomach, and so it is not really noticeable. It is more of a cosmetic problem with her. She doesn't wear anything like a 2 piece bathing suit, because she is self-conscious about it. At age 33 she has decided to do nothing about it. You should consult with a Dermatologist for treatment. According the book I am reading says yeast (Candida) is the cause of vitiligo. The authoress recommends Swedish Bitters in addition to an anti-yeast diet. |
