Pityriasis Alba, vitiligo, TSC...? |
i'm probably worrying too much but have recently noticed lighter patches on my cheeks. its kind of like the patch hasn't tanned at all while all the surrounding skin has. they're bigger than just small spots. i'm on vacation and dont think this is an emergency but i wont be seeing a doctor until i return and thats not for a couple weeks. i've actually ruled out vitiligo because its not that all color is gone and there are no definite lines between the patch and normal skin. in fact i doubt most ppl would even notice, but of course i do. any ideas? i really hope its not TSC. i just recently went to the doctor this weekend. and i have the same problem on my legs and sholders. He said its from scarring from bug bites and stuff so the white spots dont tan the area around it does making the white spots more visible |
