Tanning and vitiligo ? |
I am going to a wedding next week and i have Vitiligo, i am waiting on the hospital for my camoflage. But i cant get to see them till next month. What i would like to know is will fake spray tan cover my patches.(only clean answers please)lol. Please no more answers like the first one i got from a very sad git. Yes but it is very hard to make it even with the rest of your skin. Also remember that the fake tan will probably rub or sweat off. Make certain the fake tan isn't the kind that develops because that relies on your skins own pigment (which is what is missing in vitiligo). (Might be worth phoning the hospital camouflage department or NHS direct for advice - it may not get you any info but a quick phone call might get you a result.) I hope you have a great time at the wedding. Report It What you need is veil cover cream and veil finishing powder. The red cross will often see you to advise the best one to get (eg medium, fair etc) but it can be bought over the counter. it wont work i have vitiligo and fake tan dont work.use make up, i have it on my arm and make is the better option and its cheaper maybe you should post this question on the beauty section of yahoo answers instead of health..maybe a beauty therapist would answer your query better than people in the health section...its worth a try..good luck |
