Do I have Vitiligo? If not then what do I have? |
It started off as a small spot on my cheek as a child and since then (18 years later) has spread to over 75% of my face. I have it on my breast too. However I am unsure if it is vitiligo becuase it doesn't look as bad as I have seen others with. (what i mean by that is the difference in complexion...i am caramel complexed and the light patches on my skin is fair...not albiano white). Anyhow if anyone has any idea what this may be let me know. Thanks, I would check w/ a dermatologist... |

The normal treatment regime is a topical (cream) that you apply to affected areas, they are several different types (depending on the severity or frequency of the spots), but they are by prescripti... i dont know about this one...isnt vitiligo a lack of pigment?....i dont see why they would have immunity to skin cancer but i would think that having one skin problem is enough for a person to hand... I know what Vitiligo is, because my Dad's got it. I can't see how taking a tablet will replace the missing melanin, so I'd be wary of taking it if I were you. ...I have little patches and have had for some time (no real idea for how long). The reading I have been doing on yeast (I have a systemic yeast infestation) indicates that the candida fungus (yeast)... Yes. ...I too have vitoligo and have had it for almost 20 years (since I was 7). It has covered about 80% of my body and honestly it tends to come and go as it pleases.(for me anyway) It sounds like you do... Well, my brother has vitiligo. Usually this hits during childhood, not adulthood. If its itching then a doctor needs to check it out. ...read this for facts rather than opinions ... |
