Is there any cure for vitiligo. does pranayam help plz say?

dear sir,

i read you rposting for a solution to vitiligo. i also have a small patch on lower lip but that's not visible from far. Before it spreads i need to take hold of it.

will kapalbhati help or not. kindly let me know. with regards to my diet i'm a hardcore non-vegetarian and take non-vegetarian food every weekend. Daily i take 2 eggs for breakfast otherwise for lunch I have normal dal and sabji and roti.

Kindly let me know what changes should i make in my diet.

i used to do kapalbhati earlier but later on became highly irrefular. kindly le tme know when to do these asanas and whehter i can perform them on full stomach or in the evening.

waiting for your reply

I know that this letter is not addressed to me however I thought I should share a few thoughts with you:

Vitiligo is the loss of pigment forming cells from the skin. No one is really sure how this happens. In fact No one is really sure why this happens. Some familial tendency is present but this is really important: The disease itself is not passed down in the family, however the subsequent generations have a tendency to suffer from the disease.

You have indicated that the patch is fairly small. May I advise you, if you have not already done so, to visit a qualified dermatologist and definitely EXCLUDE some other causes of hypopigmentation.

There are some treatments which work in the majority of cases with small patches such as phototherapy, steroids and tacrolimus, all of which must be adminstered by a experienced qualified dermatologist.

I am sure that you may benefit from alternative medicine for which you have asked for advise. However I would advise you to seek allopathic help especially since your condition is small and limited for which the success rate is significant.

Hope this helps
