I don't believe there is a cure for vitiligo at this time, but I hope you are under the care of a good dermatologist. You need to get out and be with people. Realize that you have a disease and are in no way responsible for it. If you need to start slowly, going to an all night market in the later evening hours to avoid children or rude people that stare.

Realize that you are a beautiful human being, carry yourself proudly. Go out well groomed and prepared to answer questions about your illness. Please don't shut yourself away from possible friendships. There are a lot of people in the world who are rude and unkind - but there are also a lot of people who would like to be your friend.

Perhaps a local hospital or dermatologist could locate a support group - or better yet you could start one.

Call Michael Jackson...just be sure to leave any kids you may have at home (especially the boys)

There are many treatments available depending on the extent of pigment loss. See http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/vitilig...
However, there is no reason for you to be depressed. You will be surprised how little others care that you have white spots.
If you are very concerned about certain spots, there are very good cosmetics available. Couple of good one's are
dermablend, and cover fx. Again, see the website of the Mayo Clinic. Good luck.

homeopathy does reduce the whitepatches...but it could take years...dont lose heart..continue the medication

hello, first of all do not get depressed it is not your fault!!!, second of all i would highly recommend for you to get into urine therapy, it comes from Ayurveda medicine, and it consists on drinking three fingers of a glass of the first urine in the morning(putting into the glass the middle stream of it), and i would also recommend for u, to apply the urine on the spots with a cloth or patch, and with time and patience it should cure you, please be patience!!! and dont stop ok....

And a second recommendation is to drink the Kombucha Tea... with those two, alternatives you should not have a problem on your cure.. Good Luck.. and god bless.

hello friend, I too have the same problem, and I also placed a question about it. the answer i got was urine therapy. yeah, you heard me right. urine therapy. It's were you drink your first morning urine, and putting some on your patches, and in time you will be cured of vitiligo. I don't know about you but the idea of drinking my own urine freak's me out completely, but I guess it my be worth a try if it mean getting my skin color back. What do you think?
