Vitamins?...?

If I wanted to take vitamin supplements but do not want to take a multi vitamin, which vitamins should I take and how many milligrams per each?

This question is a little vague as to what your needs are but there are some basic vitamins humans strive on.

Vitamin C-Immune system support, water soulble. So therefore take the recommended dosage 200-400mg. Otherwise it dosent really matter because you pee it out, no such thing as taking to much vitamin C.

Calcium-Healthy Bone support, too much calcium can cause kidney stones so each age group should take different amounts

0 to 6 months 210 mg
7 - 12 months 270 mg
1 to 3 years 500 mg
4 to 8 years 800 mg
9 to 18 years 1300 mg
19 to 50 years 1000 mg
51+ years 1200 mg

Vitamin D- Vitamin D is needed to absorb the calcium you are taking, vitamin D is fat souble. Research Suggest that vitamin D supposrts healthy Cell growth and is good for your immune system.

Vitamin A-Supports healthy blood and muscles, promotes healthy lining around the eye. Fat souble

Vitamin B- Complex 12 vitamins all water souble Vitamin B1, (Thiamine)
Vitamin B2, (Riboflavin)
Vitamin B3, also Vitamin P or Vitamin PP (Niacin)
Vitamin B5, (Pantothenic acid)
Vitamin B6, (Pyridoxine and Pyridoxamine)
Vitamin B7, also Vitamin H (Biotin)
Vitamin B9, also Vitamin M and Vitamin B-c (Folic acid) 鈥?important for pregnancies
Vitamin B12, (Cyanocobalamin)

Otherwise every vitamin is necessary in your everyday life, most healthiest when absorbed through food. If you must pills are often a healthy alterntive.

good luck

all depends on your diet. Best to take the things you lack in diet, and the amount you need again depends on how much you already get. A multi vitamin I find the best bet, with a couple other things that I need, such as calcium, and Iron, as I am not a huge milk drinker, and tend to have low iron.

Most women need extra calcuim, vitamin c, and iron. I just dont see how you cant get by without taking a multivitamin. I would say at least 500 milligrams.

depends what you're lacking in your body. it's probably vitamin a that you need. 25,000 IU (7,500 mcg)

you should just eat correctly then you wouldn't need to take the easy way out and use vitamins.
