Multi-Vitamins help?

Alrighty, can I get help from maybe a pharmacist or someone who knows about vitamins, or someone who has taken these vitamins.

I dont want to overdose on vitamins.. I'm scared that natures plus vitamins have to much vitamin A and I wanna know if thats bad and not enough iron if i take natures plus would i have to take iron pills too to balance it out??

Thats the link to natures plus the one with more iron but are the ingredients fine and the amount of vitamins and minerals?

Can anyone recommend a good vitamin that would improve overall health, hair, skin, nails, and energy?

The Natures Plus formula that you are concerned about only contains 200% of the minimum required amount of vitamin A. This is nothing to worry about. I would not take extra iron to balance that out. In fact, loading up on iron is more likely to cause a problem then the vitamin A.

It is important to remember why you would want to take a multivitamin and what good vitamins will do for you in general. The purpose of vitamin supplements is to make up for shortages of basic vitamins in your diet. These shortages can occur because you may not be eating a well-balanced diet (which is very difficult nowadays) and because some nutrients may be processed out of prepared foods.

You should not expect to 鈥渇eel鈥?the benefits of taking vitamins. They will not produce any type of 鈥減ick me up鈥?or boost of energy unless of course you are suffering from severe vitamin deficiency. This is not very likely though. The best idea is to take a well-balanced formula and not try to load up on individual nutrients.

The most important factor for any vitamin formulation is how well your body will tolerate it. The only real way to find this out is for you is to try it for about three months. Be sure to note if you're body shows any subtle effects on your digestion or in your general well-being.

After about three months you should have a good idea of how well your system tolerates the supplement and you just may see some improvements overall health, hair, skin, nails, and energy. But remember that you will only see improvements in these areas if you are suffering from a vitamin deficiency.
