Vitamins...Supplements....Bloa...

OK. This is going to be kind of long. I am a 25 year old male who has recently quit smoking, started taking vitamins and supplements, am watching my diet, and work out almost every day. I am having a problem with bloating and gas. It seems no matter what I eat I feel bloated and have horrible smelling gas in the evenings. This only happens in the evenings all the way till bed time. Here is a list of vitamins and supplements I take followed by an example of my diet....

Vitamin D = 400iu
Vitamin A = 8000iu
B-12 = 500mcg
Selenium = 100mcg
Vitamin E = 200iu
Biotin = 500mcg
Super B Complex
Vitamin C = 500mg (stopped this to see if it would help)
Calcium = 300mg (stopped this to see if it would help)

Breakfast (5:30a) = All-Bran Cereal with 2% Milk
Snack (9:00a) = Orange
Lunch (11:00a) = Tuna Sandwich with 100% Whole Wheat bread and a cup of peaches.
Dinner (5:00p) = Plain Chicken Breast with French Style Green Beans

Thanks for all the help. I am tired of this.

The same thing happened to me last year.I found I was lactose intolerant.Whenever I ate dairy in the moring,I had gas at night.I suggest cutting dairy out of your diet for a week to see if that helps.I switched over to soy products instead.Also cut out fizzy drinks.

I really hopes this helps since I know how you feel.

use vitamins, they provide necessary essentials that are not in all foods.

probotics..are you getting them also..try a gnc or any good health food store

Either you are lactose intolerant or
You probably need a digest or colon cleanser or a detox

like a flora, anti-toxin 7 or acidophilus
milk thistle is good too
Follow the directions
You can get any of these at GNC (they could give you a better idea)
or Wal Mart

Also after big meal take some digestive enzyme like papaya or bromelian

Many nutritionists do not take multivitamins. Most Americans do and are very overweight and unhealthy. They cost pennies to make. They are not food and you were made to eat foods, not chemicals.

Many nutritonists take greens drinks which are foods but the most nutrient dense ones-- superfoods. They are what helps you with the lack of fruits and vegeables in your diet. See site below to find out more about them. They have no added vitamins or minerals but are loaded with them naturally but also the thousands of phytochemicals that you need to get from fruits and vegetables.
