What are cranberry vitamins for? I currently take multi-vitamins, hair, nails and skin vitamins, all in one gr

grapefruit vitamins, breast enhancement supplements, metabo metabolism enhancers is it okay or am I overdoing it. I know that you can get sick from vitamin overdose... I would appreciate your help. I am loosing weight and my dr told me to take multi-vitamins but I am taking others as well

I think it's better to ask your Dr. You shouldn't be taking all kinds of vitamins without their consultation. One a day vitamin have loads of vitamins in them, you could be over doing it. BTW, Cranberry vitamins are to help with your renal system....clears up bladder infections.

You might want to tell your doctor everything that you're on...it seems like you're overdoing it.

Recent scientific research shows that cranberries and cranberry products contain significant amounts of antioxidants and other phytonutrients that may help protect against heart disease, cancer and other diseases.
Cranberries contain proanthocyanidins (PACs) that can prevent the adhesion of certain of bacteria, including E. coli, associated with urinary tract infections to the urinary tract wall. The anti-adhesion properties of cranberry may also inhibit the bacteria associated with gum disease and stomach ulcers.

Check out the ingredients in your vitamins and make sure they are water soluble. Then you won't OD. If they are fat soluble you could be doing serious damage to your liver.

Better yet, eat healthy. Visit your local organic grocer and add variety to your diet. Then cut out all these pills.

Cranberry vitamins are good for your urinary system. If you get frequent UTIs, they're good to take.

As for the other question... why are you taking so many anyway? Just take a multivitamin. Be happy with your body... excersize instead of taking all those silly pills.

Cranberry juice is good for the bladder and has vitamin c, which improves your immune system. My mom says that it also makes your skin beautiful.
