Can vitamins be taken at night?

I am taking centrum performance right now. I find it hard to take them in the morning...just to rushed and busy to remember. I do have a night time routine for taking other meds and i was just wondering if i can take my vitamins at night too. Ive always heard that vitamins give you energy and you shouldnt take them at night.
Maybe it's just performance vitamins because they have ginseng in them.
I also take a b-complex vitamin.
Can a just regular multivitamin be taken at night???
thanks :)

I typically take mine with dinner. Since doing so i feel more rested and awake in the morning, and better throughout the day.

You should be taking them with a meal. Any meal should be fine. If you take on an empty stomach your body does not absorb the vitamins well. I take a bunch of supplements that are supposed to be taken 2 or 3 x's per day but I take them all at lunchtime otherwise I would forget about them.

i dont see why not i take mine at night and im fine and i feel better in the morning

Multi vitamins work best taken with a meal. Many of the vitamins and minerals in supplements are better able to work with the nutrients in food so that you get the full benefit of them. Also, food acts as a buffer with some (calcium comes to mind) to help prevent stomach irritation.
With that in mind, if taking them in the morning is not convenient, take them with lunch or dinner. Better than not taking them at all because if you are skipping well balanced meals, seems like you need a supplement.

Multivitamins should be taken with food to lessen stomach upset.

Multi-vitamins taken at night are not as effective. While sleeping your digestion slows and this prevents you from getting optimal absorption.
Different supplements can be taken at night like fish oil or magnesium.
