Vertigo, and chronic sinusitus? |
I have chronic sinusitus, with a blocked/sealed sinus passage. The best thing to do for sinusitis is to treat the symptoms using over the counter sinus meds., they work O.K. There is no cure for sinusitis and if you went to a specialist they might prescribe stronger meds including steroids and antibiotics. I tried them and did not find them any More effective than over the counter sinus pills. Resting, not smoking and not drinking seem to be the best way to keep symptoms to a minimum. If you are really getting a lot of dizziness, you could have a doctor drain your ears, but its only temporary relief. I have never heard of anyone progressing to a point of blackouts from sinusitis, so I wouldn't worry about that. I don't know what your situation is but if you have a chronic condition, you need to find a way to get health insurance. You dint want to seek treatment in a clinic, the care is pretty bad. Good luck. i had blocked sinus infection and needed to have the eye ducts flushed with a salt solution at the hospital. |
