Could it be vertigo, or is something else wrong with me? |
I get dizzy sometimes, and it's really bad, like drunk dizzy. I can barly walk, I can hardly stand. When I lay down, the room still spins. It sounds like vertigo, but when I looked on yahoo! Health, It didn't seem like it because when I get dizzy, it lasts a LONG time, like 5 hours or more, and it's so bad that I have to just lay down and sleep until it goes away, and most of the time, it pairs with headaches and I get kind of sick. Could it be vertigo? If the sensation you get is one of spinning and it's brought on by changes in head position, it's probably vertigo, and originates in the inner ear. There are drugs to help. You should see an ear specialist MD because it may not be from the ear but neurologic. I am suffering what you're suffering. While I agree that it could be vertigo, it's best for both of us to see a doctor immediately and not guess. Best of luck Have your cholesterol levels checked, just to rule it out.. Could be a lot of things. Go to your doctor, or if there is none, go to the emergency room. Classic vertigo i think it's something with your blood probably you blood glucose. i think you should talk to your doctor. Because it lasts so long, it might not be just vertigo. It sounds like you are having migraine headaches, also. This combined with the vertigo could mean your problem may be a little more serious. I suggest you call your doctor for an appointment immediately. If it gets real bad, don't wait for the doctor and get in to the Emergency Room at the nearest hospital. Best of luck to you. I will be praying for you! |
