Over The Counter VERTIGO medication that WORKS ?

I have been suffering from vertigo on and off pretty much my whole life. It comes and goes in spells and Saturday night I had a horrible spell at work and had to drive home very dizzy and nauseated (over an hour drive!) Nothing seems to be helping. My doctor prescribed me loratadine for allergies and told me to use this nasal spray that would kill the inner ear infection for my sense of balance / kill the constant nausea & vertigo.

I have already missed close to a week of work, I am very broke I can't afford to go see my doctor again for a prescription or i would :( what can i go buy over the counter that would help me? should i call my pharmacist over the phone before having to drive there, walk in and search for the product ? Driving is pretty much impossible. I get such bad motion / car sickness.

I have to work tommorrow, Sat and Sun or I can kiss my job goodbye. PLEASE PLEASE help me. I am so depressed and stressed out today any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

God Bless!

Go ahead and CALL your doc and tell them what's happening to you because they need to know. Tell them your job and moneitary situation because most doctors will work with you---especially if they have recently seen you for a condition and you are calling regarding the same one. They should be able to tell you something without necessity of an appointment right now.
