Do vertigo symptoms ever last more than a few weeks? |
I had a severe case of vertigo a few weeks ago and I am still a bit dizzy occasionally. Thought I'd see if anyone else can identify. Thank you! Hmmm...I have vertigo but it's only lasted a week at most. Check with your doctor. I found later that I had a thyroid problem that leads to dizziness. Once I treated the thyroid problem, my vertigo went aways. I was just talking to a co-worker today and she has that problem. She said it would come and go. But she as it under control now. You should go to the doctors and let him know. If he doesn't do any test, than go and get a second opinion. There is a reason for this you and should get to the bottom of it as soon as you can. Middle ear infections are usually the cause... BUT here is why you should be concerned. |
