(BPV) Vertigo and Acid Reflux? Anyone heard of this? |
i went to the ENT today for an opinion as to the cause of my BPV. I was shocked at his diagnosis. He said that reflux occuring while i'm sleeping is inflaming the tissue in my throat around my eustation tube causing it to not properly regulate air and pressure in my ear.....after a chain of more events in the ear causing the vertigo. Cure according to the doctor? Quit eating dinner. He says that if I cut dinner out of my life and not eat after lunch, my digestion will be fully complete prior to bedtime and the reflux won't continue. Has anyone heard of this? I tried some internet searches and didn't come up with anything. Never heard of that before. I had awful acid reflux. One thing I learned on internet was an apple 1hour before bed and to lay on my left side really helped. When you lay on your left side it helps food digest better. The pectin in apples helps but I can't remember why. Yes!! I've heard of it. I know what you can take also. Gee, wot a nitwit !! Did you ask for your money back???? |
