Reverse vertigo???

i've heard of people getting vertigo when looking down from a great height, but i seem to get it looking up from the ground. usually if i look up from directly from the bottom of a tall, free standing building or object, i get very dizzy, feel like i'm going to fall over and have to grab onto the nearest solid thing.

is this usual?

You have positional vertigo-this is due to calcium build up in the posterior semicircular canals.
You have to do what is called an Epleys to get rid of it as it may worsen with time
YOu have to lay on the bed cross ways and slowly roll over 2 minutes like 360 degress with you head hanging off the edge of the bed. If you get dizzy stop and continue after 5 seconds. This will clear out the crystals in the inner ear and allow the fluid to flow properly

well i dont know if its unusual but your not alone! cos i get it too, particularly when im standing on a ladder to change a light globe i feel like the whole rooms spinning.

Not unusual
