Can overhead lights cause vertigo? |
I have vertigo and also migraines. I couldn't figure out why when I go into my daughter's room, I got dizzy and nauseous. I finally figured out it's her overhead light. When it is on, I get sick. When it's off, I don't. I know that bright lights can cause migraines, but can they cause vertigo? Vertigo is the worst! I have experienced it (3 days) and have been told a few different diagnoses. Menieres - an inner ear problem that flares up for people or even my current situation Multiple Sclerosis. I know people are set off by many things and I am not surprised if this stimulus is setting off your symptoms. An Executive where I work wears a hat for overhead florecent lights...My wife a had an out of no where attack and I had left over meds: Antivert, Meclizine 10 minutes GONE for her... yes it is possible in individuals who are susceptible. |
